In a company meeting on 31 March 2018 it was agreed that Bounty Hunting should be allowed in LRF but also be subject to some rules and permission granted by Jean_Dupleix (director) on an individual basis.
In a company meeting on 28 Sept 2019 it was agreed that company members who have been granted a privateering permit by the board of directors shall also observe the following code of conduct.
LRF Bounty Hunters or Privateers that have been granted permission shall observe the following rules:
- show self-respect and respect for others including their opponents and avoid any abusive language or behaviour
- avoid any activities that bear a risk of negative impact on our company or its members
- violation of these rules can lead to a warning and if repeated to a revocation of the permit or dismissal from our company
When an application for Bounty Hunter is received I will normally ask our Chief Maritime Officer (Corbeau) to sail with the applicant so he can form an opinion on his/her suitability and give me a recommendation regarding the Bounty Hunting permit. Bounty Hunting done on such assessment trips according to instructions of the Chief Maritime Officer is part of the permission process and in accordance with our company rules.
